The Summer of Dev
Welcome. I've created this blog to alleviate some of the intense boredom I have at my summer job. It's hard to describe what the actual Summer of Dev is, all I can say is that it's a 3 month long celebration similar to the festivities of Devember. As far as the blog goes though, I'll just be writing political rants, movie reviews, BURRITO recipes, sports topics, DevTheories(TM), and maybe an adventure or two from the summer. Auburn has a good shot.. that Kenny Irons is hella good. LSU will lose more than usual because they just aren't that well-coached.
Actually Les Miles did one of the best jobs in coaching last year, in my humble opinion.
Not sure how you get off saying they're not well-coached...
They had a great record, but alot of that came from a favorable road/home schedule. This year they go to Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
Miles went to my blacklist for blowing a 21 point lead over Tennessee. The only thing I hate more than Carolina losing is when other teams lose to UT.
So to recap:
New coach + Katrina + 10-2 record= great job
Blowing a 21 point lead to UT= not well coached
As you mentioned, they also had a little bit of a distraction in Hurricane Katrina.
Blowing a 21 point lead to Temple would be understandable in the wake of such a disaster.
